Ben Ruby
Owner and Specialist Neurological Physiotherapist
Prior to completing his Physiotherapy degree in 2008, Ben had already found his passion and decided to specialise in Neurology. He first worked within the NHS delivering therapy for Neuro Rehab inpatients and focused on improving the outcomes for Neurological patients. He has been in private practice for the last 13 years, treating individuals with a wide variety of Neurological conditions both at home and abroad.
Now as Owner and Lead therapist of Neuro Physio Connect, Ben is keen to deliver a service that offers clients the best therapeutic and evidence-based intervention available, be it at their homes, in Hydrotherapy or within the clinic setting. As well as specialising in Neurology, Ben is also a qualified Strength and Conditioning coach and enjoys fusing the principles together to offer engaging and progressive therapeutic intervention.
Sally Coates
Specialist
Neurological Physiotherapist
Sally qualified in 2008 from Cardiff University with a first class degree in Physiotherapy. She has spent the last 13 years working for the NHS in the field of Neurological rehabilitation in inpatient, outpatient and community settings. Sally has completed further study in a number of areas including stroke rehabilitation, upper limb treatment techniques, FND and vestibular rehabilitation. Recently she has moved away from the NHS and is now working privately continuing to offer skilled assessment and treatment to people with a wide range of Neurological conditions.
Wendy Forsyth
Specialist Neurological Physiotherapist
Wendy qualified as a Physiotherapist in South Africa and has worked in the NHS for over 22 years. In this time, she has predominantly worked in the Neuro outpatient service, providing therapy to individuals with a variety of conditions. As well as this, Wendy has run the cardiac rehabilitation service and worked in elderly care services. Wendy has vast experience in treating Stroke and specialises in the treatment of Parkinson’s Disease, carrying out interventions in both a group setting or within people’s homes.
Sita Taylor
Physiotherapy Assistant
Sita is trained as a Functional Fitness instructor and has been working in this capacity for nearly 30 years. She specialises in Stroke rehabilitation and treatment of Multiple Sclerosis and has a wealth of experience in adapting exercise programs to suit the needs of the individual. Sita is a qualified Yoga instructor, is ARNI trained and takes great pride in improving people’s strength and balance.
KD Miller Tomlinson
Physiotherapy Assistant
Our sport and fitness fanatic! KD is a Sports Science graduate and personal trainer. A big believer in the positive impact physical wellbeing has on how we feel, act, and think. KD assists at Hydrotherapy and works within the community. Currently studying to become a qualified Physiotherapist.
Jackie Sloane
Physiotherapist Assistant
Jackie has worked within care services for 10 years both in care homes and the community. This experience is valuable in us understanding our client’s needs from a different perspective. Jackie works as a Physio assistant and enjoys carrying out exercise programs to those within the community.
